Nas aldeias da Serra da Lousã, atualmente praticamente desabitadas e apenas conservadas pelo turismo, Elsa Claro (habitante) declara o seu amor à terra e à casa onde conserva as memórias. Através de um trabalho de contemplação vivenciamos a perda, e encontramo-nos com o silencio de uma vida que se quer a dois. Um filme essencialmente sobre o amor que fica.

In the villages of the Serra da Lousã, now practically uninhabited and only preserved by tourism, Elsa Claro (an inhabitant) declares her love for the land and the house where she keeps her memories. Through a work of contemplation, we experience loss and encounter the silence of a life that is meant to be for two. A film essentially about the love that remains.

Eva e Miguel partilham uma rotina, um apartamento. Dentro deste apartamento vivem vidas diferentes em espaços diferentes que se contaminam. Eva procura o azul para a suas telas e Miguel procura Eva. Desencontrados nas conversas de silêncios questionam o amor.

Paint dries at night
Eva and Miguel share a routine, a flat. Inside this flat they live different lives in different spaces that contaminate each other. Eva is looking for blue for her canvases and Miguel is looking for Eva. Mismatched in silent conversations, they question each other about love.

O gesto de olhar pela janela foi uma atitude que reencontrei na Noruega.
Inspirando-me no trabalho de diário de vídeo de Chantal Akerman “From the east” e no trabalho de Jonas Mekas, este filme compila vídeos gravados da minha janela no período que vivi em Volda. Pretende-se uma reflexão sobre o tempo e sobre a sua vivencia partilhada. Através do meu ponto de vista, quer-se contar com recurso a testemunhos das minhas colegas de casa, o olhar pela janela.

The gesture of looking out of the window was an attitude I rediscovered in Norway.
Inspired by Chantal Akerman's video diary ‘From the east’ and the work of Jonas Mekas, this film compiles videos recorded from my window during my time in Volda. It is intended as a reflection on time and its shared experience. The film aims to tell the story of looking out of a window, from my point of view my housemates complete the felling of looking through the window.
