Diana Gonçalves é uma artista que procura expandir os conhecimentos na área da teoria da arte com foco a estender o seu trabalho fílmico. Interessa-se particularmente pela temporalidade do cinema, de modo a transformar a experiência em algo transcendental através do ritmo e contemplação do movimento. Neste momento, procura aprofundar o seu conhecimento nas capacidades performativas do cinema interessando-se pela presença e forma dos corpos.
Está atualmente a terminar a sua licenciatura em cinema na UCP.EA, trabalha na área da realização e montagem, envolvendo-se em projetos que já foram reconhecidos em festivais como Caminhos do Cinema Portugues, Sophia Estudante e Encontros de Cinema de Viana do Castelo.
Diana Gonçalves is an artist who seeks to expand her knowledge in the field of art theory with a focus on extending her film work. She is particularly interested in the temporality of cinema, in order to transform the experience into something transcendental through the rhythm and contemplation of movement. At the moment, she is looking to deepen her knowledge of the performative capacities of cinema, taking an interest in the presence of bodies.
She is currently finishing her degree in cinema at UCP.EA, developing skills in the area of directing and editing, and is involved in projects that have already been recognised at festivals such as Caminhos do Cinema Portugues, Sophia Estudante and Encontros de Cinema de Viana do Castelo.
